So a famous glass blower has set up his studio in the "shopping area" where we hold church and is making the candle holders we're using for advent this year. One of the pastors asked me to take some photos to be used for when we auction off the pieces. Word is spreading that I'm in search of opportunities to improve and broaden my repertoire (which as of yet, has been my own children and a few friends).
I had a great time watching this artist in action and learning the art of glass blowing. Let's just say our advent candle holders are not your typical wreath with 5 holes! Such creativity, thoughtfulness, and an eye to our surroundings are just 3 more reasons why I love Seed Church (www.dyingtolive.org).
